A catalog of the species and subspecies of Neuropterida (Insecta: Neuroptera, Megaloptera, and Raphidioptera) occurring in modern India is presented, based primarily on an extensive review of relevant literature published through mid 2024. The currently known extant fauna comprises 3 orders, 15 families, 129 genera, 368 species, and 6 subspecies (Neuroptera: 11 families, 119 genera, 332 species; Megaloptera: 2 families, 8 genera, 31 species; Raphidioptera: 2 families, 2 genera, 5 species). In addition, one extinct species is known, †Spiloconis eominuta (Neuroptera: Coniopterygidae).

Unlabelled: Kaposi's sarcoma herpesvirus (KSHV) is the causative agent of Kaposi's sarcoma and is associated with primary effusion lymphoma (PEL), multicentric Castleman's disease, and two inflammatory diseases. KSHV-associated cancers are primarily associated with genes expressed during latency, while other pathologies are associated with lytic gene expression. The major lytic switch of the virus, Replication and Transcription Activator (RTA), interacts with cellular machinery to co-opt the host ubiquitin proteasome system to evade the immune response as well as activate the program of lytic replication.

We investigate the relaxation dynamics of crystalline stems in relation to the molecular topology of the crystalline/amorphous interface, employing coarse-grained molecular dynamics. To efficiently generate model semicrystalline systems of linear polyethylene with a realistic interphase morphology, we simplified the Monte Carlo method by introducing molecular dynamics for faster relaxation. The structural properties of the generated systems are validated against experimental measurements, theoretical predictions, and existing simulation data.

Oceanic delphinids that occur in and around Navy operational areas are regularly exposed to intense military sonar broadcast within the frequency range of their hearing. However, empirically measuring the impact of sonar on the behavior of highly social, free-ranging dolphins is challenging. Additionally, baseline variability or the frequency of vocal state-switching among social oceanic dolphins during undisturbed conditions is lacking, making it difficult to attribute changes in vocal behavior to anthropogenic disturbance.

Retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) lack regenerative capacity in mammals, and their degeneration in glaucoma leads to irreversible blindness. The transplantation of stem cell-derived RGCs lacks clinically relevant effect due to insufficient survival and integration of donor cells. In this article, we employ the multistate iterative Boltzmann inversion (MS-IBI) method to develop coarse-grained potentials capable of representing molecular structure in both the amorphous and crystalline phases of semicrystalline polymers with improved accuracy while allowing for tunable control over the dynamics governing the α-relaxation process. A unique feature of this method is that the potentials are blended using the product of the target structural distributions, for example, the radial density function, for each phase and a weighting factor. To demonstrate this approach, a family of potentials for polyethylene is developed where the weighting factor of the crystalline phase ranges is varied from zero, incorporating information only from the amorphous phase, to unity, where the model is trained from only the crystalline phase.
