Ophthalmic delivery of luteolin (LU) was studied after formulating a carrageenan-based novel ion-sensitive in situ gel (ISG) incorporating oleophytocubosomes for prolonged ocular residence time and improved ocular bioavailability of the poorly absorbed herbal drug luteolin.
