What is the Effect of Bevacizumab on Cartilage and Synovium in a Rabbit Model of Hemophilic Arthropathy?

Background: Hemophilic arthropathy can cause recurrent hemarthroses and severe damage to the synovium and articular cartilage. Previous studies have shown that vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) plays an essential role in neoangiogenesis. Bevacizumab, a monoclonal VEGF inhibitor, is used clinically to prevent angiogenesis.

Cross-sectional study: long term follow-up care for pediatric cancer survivors in a developing country, Turkey: current status, challenges, and future perspectives.

Aim: The main purpose of this study is to determine the current status of long-term follow-up (LTFU) for childhood cancer survivors and the challenges of LTFU for pediatric cancer survivors at pediatric oncology institutions in Turkey.

Material And Methods: A questionnaire was e-mailed to the directors of 33 pediatric oncology centers (POCs) registered in the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group (TPOG). Of these 33 active TPOG institutions, 21 participated in the study and returned their completed questionnaires.

An examination of the symptoms of anxiety and parental attitude in children with hemophilia.

Background/aim: Hemophilia is an inherited disease with serious repercussions. Psychiatric symptoms are frequently seen in children and adolescents with hemophilia. The aim of this study was to assess symptoms of anxiety in children with hemophilia and parental attitude towards children with hemophilia.
