Objective: This study aimed to compare duration of medication abortion after pretreatment with mifepristone versus misoprostol-only regimens at 22 + 0/7 to 30 + 0/7 weeks.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients admitted for medication abortion from 2014 to 2022. Patients underwent feticide due to genetic or anatomical abnormalities at gestational age of 22 + 0/7 to 30 + 0/7 weeks.
Acute chorioamnionitis complicates 1-2% of all pregnancies and might increase the prevalence of endometritis that can cause Asherman syndrome or adhesions, but little is known about the direct effects of chorioamnionitis on future fertility. We aimed to evaluate the effect of chorioamnionitis on future fertility and obstetrics complications in patients diagnosed with chorioamnionitis during their pregnancy. We performed an observational, case-control retrospective study of pregnant women aged 18-40 years old, hospitalized with a diagnosis of chorioamnionitis between January 2013 and December 2017.
