Heterotopic mesenteric ossification (HMO) represents a rare reactive condition characterized by abnormal bone formation within the mesentery. HMO's etiology remains enigmatic, with proposed triggers including trauma-induced metaplasia or bone fragment dislodgment from other sites during abdominal surgery. With fewer than 100 documented cases in the literature, much about this condition remains unknown.

Background: Although rotavirus vaccination has reduced the global burden of the virus, morbidity and mortality from rotavirus infection remain high in Sub-Saharan Africa. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of rotavirus and adenovirus infections in children under five years with acute gastroenteritis and to identify factors associated with rotavirus infection after the introduction of the Rotasiil® vaccine in 2019 in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Methods: This study consisted of a cross-sectional hospital-based survey conducted from May 2022 to April 2023 in four health facilities in Kisangani, using a fecal-based test (rapid antigenic immuno-chromatographic diagnostic test, BYOSYNEX adenovirus/rotavirus BSS, Biosynex SA, Illkirch-Graffenstaden, France) of rotavirus and adenovirus infections among children under five years of age with acute gastroenteritis.
Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the intensity and frequency of low back pain (LBP) in people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) and patients' knowledge of physiotherapeutic methods for combating LBP.
Methods: This study included all MS patients attending consecutive follow-up visits for treatment related to MS between March and May 2023. Only current pain sensations in the lumbar spine were taken into account.

In the proposed CA model, cell states, internal variables, equations, and transition rules were defined to predict the manner of mass transport during DP reaction and to relate changes in the microstructure with corresponding changes in chemical composition. Furthermore, the concept of digital material representation (DMR) was introduced into the CA model, which allowed schematic images of the microstructure to be used as starting structures in the modelling of the DP reaction.
