Objectives: Although clinicians may use methylene blue (MB) in refractory septic shock, the effect of MB on patient-important outcomes remains uncertain. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate the benefits and harms of MB administration in patients with septic shock.

Background: Ashwagandha herb is commonly used in Ayurveda and a "fad" dietary supplement for a host of indications based on low levels of evidence. Recently, ashwagandha was implicated in multiple reports of herb-induced liver injury (HILI), mainly from the United States. We present the first, and currently largest, series of ashwagandha-HILI from multiple centers in India.

Early Repolarization Syndrome Leading to Recurrent Cardiac Arrest in a Young Active Duty Patient.

A previously healthy, active duty 37-year-old male experienced recurrent cardiac arrests because of ventricular fibrillation and polymorphic ventricular tachycardia. Initial evaluation did not reveal a clear ischemic, structural, toxic, or metabolic cause. Close monitoring of telemetry before his third cardiac arrest revealed the cause to be early repolarization syndrome (ERS).

Here we showcase the role of paleochannels, a product of migrating rivers, in a catastrophic flood in the south-western part of the Indian Peninsula.
