Hyperventilation (HV) is carried out for 3 minutes as a standard activation procedure in most routine electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures. Patients And Methods: A total of 118 patients with suspected PCa who underwent Ga-PSMA PET/CT between May 2015 and June 2016 were prospectively included. Final decision on performing biopsy was left to the referring urologist after considering the clinical data, scan findings and discussion with the patient.
Background: Imaging of gliomas remains challenging. The aim of the study was to assess the feasibility of using Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT for imaging gliomas.
Methods: Fifteen patients with glioma from 2 centers were included in the study.
A 64-year-old woman underwent completion thyroidectomy with upper tracheal ring resection and right-sided neck dissection for papillary carcinoma of the thyroid infiltrating the trachea and was given I radioiodine treatment. Three years later, she presented with hemoptysis. On evaluation, she had increased serum thyroglobulin and negative iodine scan (TENIS).

Expression of the egl-13 SOX domain transcription factor is specifically upregulated upon induction of the pi lineage and not in response to other LIN-12/Notch-mediated decisions. We report the case of a 39-year-old man with a brain tumor and 12 years of intractable partial epilepsy with secondary generalization. After extensive noninvasive and invasive evaluation the seizure focus was localized to the right fronto-parietal region. After a meta analysis of several published articles on SPECT brain imaging in patients with epilepsy (with extractable data on at least 6 patients per article), institutions using SPECT for evaluation of epilepsy have been encouraged to perform ictal scanning or interictal and postictal SPECT studies.
Methods: We compared the relative localizing values of hypoperfusion in video-electroencephalographically (EEG) monitored interictal SPECT (IISPECT) and hyperperfusion in immediate postictal or periictal SPECT (PISPECT) in nonlesional patients who underwent temporal lobectomies in our epilepsy center from 1995 to 1998.
We isolated egl-13 mutants in which the pi cells of the Caenorhabditis elegans uterus initially appeared to develop normally but then underwent an extra round of cell division. The data suggest that egl-13 is required for maintenance of the pi cell fate.

Method Of Study: In the present study, a rat uterine-peritoneal adhesion model was developed to study the progression of adhesion formation during a course of 7 days following pelvic surgery. The distal 1 cm of each uterine horn and its adjacent peritoneum was abraded by six scratches with a scalpel blade, producing punctate bleeding.
Setting: The Pathanamthittha District of Kerala State, India, where the directly observed treatment, short-course (DOTS) programme was started in October 1994.
Objective: To determine the frequency with which direct observation actually occurred within a district-level DOTS programme, and the association of treatment observation with treatment outcome under programme conditions.
Design: This retrospective study included 200 consecutive, newly-detected, smear-positive patients registered under the project between February 1995 and February 1996 at the District Tuberculosis Centre, as well as health workers responsible for providing directly observed treatment (DOT) who were separately and confidentially interviewed.
Zonisamide (ZNS) is a relatively new antiepileptic medication currently available in Japan. Attempts to market the drug in the United States were thwarted by reports of nephrolithiasis by European and American investigators. However, successful marketing of the drug in Japan has resulted in a renewed interest in bringing the drug to the United States.
