Introduction: Mechanical neck pain (MNP) and mechanical low back pain (MLBP) can have a negative impact on the quality of life of patients and may be associated with high levels of disability. Magnetic field therapy has been used in the treatment of various diseases. This study was conducted to assess the effects of static magnetic field therapy generated by neodymium magnets in patients with MNP and MLBP.

Glioblastoma Multiforme With CDKN2A, Loss of PTEN and EGFR Amplification, and Diffuse Distant Organ Metastasis Treated With Six Lines of Therapy: A Case Report and Literature Review.

In glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cases, the tumor usually remains limited to the central nervous system in the expected disease course. Here, we discuss the case of a 41-year-old male patient who presented with extracranial spread, which has been reported in a limited number of cases in the literature. The patient received six lines of treatment including radiotherapy with temozolomide, irinotecan-bevacizumab combination, lomustine, erlotinib, everolimus, and weekly carboplatin-paclitaxel.

Background And Purpose: Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by motor and non-motor symptoms. Levodopa is the most effective drug in the symptomatic treatment of the disease. Dopamine receptor agonists provide sustained dopamin-ergic stimulation and have been found to delay the initiation of levodopa treatment and reduce the frequency of various motor complications due to the long-term use of levodopa.

In this paper we report our results of using gabapentin as an add-on treatment in refractory overactive detrusor cases secondary to spinal cord injury.

Unilateral common carotid artery dissection in a patient with recent COVID-19: An association or a coincidence?

The "Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)", caused by severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), progressed rapidly since its first outbreak, and quickly developed into a pandemic. Although COVID-19 mostly presents with respiratory symptoms, researchers have started reporting neurologic manifestations such as cerebrovascular diseases in patients, with COVID-19 as the pandemic has progressed. Herein, we report a case of 38-year-old female patient identified with a left common carotid artery dissection, with COVID-19.

The roles of galectin-3 and galectin-4 in the idiopatic Parkinson disease and its progression.

Objectives: Idiopathic Parkinson's Disease is a neurodegenerative disease caused by the loss of cells that secrete dopamine in the basal ganglia. Galectins are multipotent, evolutionarily conserved, cell surface glycoconjugated and crosslinked carbohydrate-binding proteins. The roles of these proteins in the diagnosis of the disease have been investigated.

Levetiracetam induced psoriasiform drug eruption: a rare case report.

Levetiracetam (LEV) is an established second generation anti-epileptic drug and LEV associated severe cutaneous reactions are rare. Here we report the case of psoriasiform drug eruption in a patient with newly diagnosed epilepsy who had been treated with levetiracetam. To our knowledge this is the first report of a patient with a psoriasiform eruption that appeared after the administration of LEV.
