Objectives: Delayed [Ga]Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) images show reduced PSMA uptake in benign lesions and increased PSMA uptake in malignant lesions. This study investigated the efficacy of PRIMARY scoring on [Ga]Ga-PSMA PET/CT images at standard versus delayed time points and assessed the potential added value of delayed imaging in PRIMARY scoring.
Methods: A total of 140 patients with biopsy results of International Society of Urological Pathology grade groups (ISUP) 1-2 who had standard (median 60 min) and delayed images (median 138 min) with [Ga]Ga-PSMA PET/CT before radical prostatectomy were included.
Introduction: Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) is a highly sensitive and accurate method for identifying pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs). However, research on grading and assessing the Ki67 proliferation index in FNA samples is limited.
Methods: This study analyzed 335 EUS-FNA cases performed between 2016 and 2022, of which 12 cases of PanNET were further evaluated.
Rationale And Objectives: The study aimed to evaluate demographic and radiological characteristics of breast incidentalomas found on 18-fluorodeoxyglucose Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography (F-FDG PET-CT) performed for extramammary indications.
Materials And Methods: A total of 12633 F-FDG PET-CT scans performed between January 1, 2018 and January 1, 2024, were retrospectively reviewed. Breast incidentalomas that had undergone breast imaging, tissue diagnosis, or at least 2-year radiological follow-up were included.
Cancer-associated macrophage-like cells (CAMLs) are rare, gigantic, and atypical circulating cells found exclusively in the peripheral blood of patients with solid cancers. Obesity-induced hypoxia attracts macrophages to the tumor microenvironment, where they contribute to establishing chronic inflammation, leading to cancer progression. We hypothesized that obese patients with advanced breast cancer may have CAML profiles different from those of nonobese patients, and these profiles may correlate with proinflammatory markers or other macrophage-related markers.

Methods: We analyzed the association between duplicate patient records and multiple demographic variables (race, Hispanic ethnicity, sex, and age) as well as the Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI), number of diagnoses, and number of health care encounters.
Two distinct families of NLOphores featuring hydrazone donors were synthesized using click-type [2 + 2] cycloaddition retroelectrocyclizations (CA-RE). Despite the limitations in the substrate scope, it was shown for the first time that hydrazone-activated alkynes could undergo reactions with TCNE/TCNQ. The electrochemical, photophysical, and second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) characteristics of the chromophores were analyzed utilizing experimental and computational approaches.

Recrystallization of 1 from dimethylformamide under ambient conditions allowed to produce yellow block-like crystals of 1·HO. Complex 1·HO was characterized by FT-IR and H NMR spectroscopy, while its optical properties were studied by UV-vis and spectrofluorimetry in methanol.

This study compared the biomechanical behavior of tilted long implants and axially short implants to support fixed prostheses in an atrophic maxilla with all-on-six treatment concepts. Three different implant configurations were planned, and six models were obtained with posterior maxilla D3 and D4 bone densities in this study.

A Rhodamine B-Zn-MOF composite (RhB-Zn-MOF) with dual emission intensity was synthesized through one pot synthesis by in-situ encapsulation of Rhodamine-B dye on a new Zn-MOF metal-organic framework [(Zn(OAc)(4-BrIPh) (1,10-phenonthroline)(HO)].HO, (4-BrIPh = 4-Bromoisophthalic acid). Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 147 patient records in whom [ Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT imaging was performed preoperatively. All patients were initially diagnosed with ISUP GG 1 and 2 PCa by biopsy.
We have developed a new scaffold that exhibits an efficient intramolecular through-space charge transfer (CT). In this design, electron-rich benzofuran and electron-deficient ynone groups are placed strategically in proximity a naphthalene spacer. Charge transfer is supported by distinct CT bands in the visible region (>500 nm) in their UV-vis absorption and emission spectra.

For many decades the success of dental implants has been considered to be dependent predominantly on the quality and quantity of the patient's alveolar bone. Feldspathic, lithium disilicate, and zirconia-reinforced CAD/CAM ceramics were divided into four groups: control group (C), no surface treatment; hydrofluoric (HF) group, 5% HF acid-etched; sandblasting (SB) group, abraded with 50 µm aluminum oxide (AlO) particles; silica-coated (CJ) group, abraded with 30 µm silica-modified AlO particles. Roughness values were obtained by using a profilometer.
