The vascularity of placental tissue is dependent on various factors of which fetomaternal hypoxia plays a major role. Hypoxia can be of different types and each type influences the vascularity of the villi, especially terminal villi, in its own way. In this study, we attempted to identify villous vascular changes in a group of term placentae from mothers with diseases complicating pregnancy.

Comparison of 3-tier cytological grading systems for breast carcinoma.

Background. Fine-needle aspiration cytology plays a major role in the primary diagnosis of breast carcinoma. Cytological grading of the smears can provide valuable prognostic information and aid in planning the management options.

The current trend in the development of gun propellant is to replace the non-energetic plasticizers with the energetic plasticizer. This leads to better energetic performance of gun propellant. The purpose of the present paper is to explore the possibility of enhancing the ballistic performance of RDX based gun propellant by incorporating an energetic plasticizer into the propellant composition.
