Minimally invasive vertebroplasty has arisen as a viable alternative treatment for pathologic vertebral body fractures. Vertebroplasty is well documented in the thoracic and lumbar spine from the posterolateral approach, but is rarely employed in the cervical spine in consideration of numerous critical neural and vascular structures that must be avoided. Careful technique and usage of imaging is necessary to maneuver crucial structures and minimize risk of complication.

Severe pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Therapeutic approaches for intermediate- and high-risk pulmonary arterial hypertension have now shifted toward initial combination management, often including parenteral epoprostenol and iloprost and early assessment for a lung transplant. After the initiation of therapy, usually various combinations of different classes of medication, it is important to consider the potential interruption in therapy causing rebound PAH.

We present a unique case of diffusely extensive Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). Typically affecting the peripheral nervous system and manifesting with muscle weakness, breakdown or paresthesia, we present a case that additionally demonstrates; cranial nerve involvement, central nervous system parenchymal lesions, and chronic osseous remodeling of the nerve tracts. Cranial nerve involvement to this extent has only been described in one other case report to our knowledge.

African Americans suffer a greater burden of mortality from breast, cervical, and colorectal cancers than other groups in the United States. Early detection through timely screening can improve survival outcomes; however, cost is frequently reported as a barrier to screening. Federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) provide preventive and primary care to underserved populations regardless of ability to pay, positioning them to improve cancer screening rates.
