Background: Positron emission tomography (PET) imaging with [F]flortaucipir allows for in-vivo visualization of aggregated tau in Alzheimer's disease (AD). The FDA-approved label for [F]flortaucipir PET provides a standardized, clinically applicable definition of tau-PET positivity by visual interpretation. Here, we studied the concordance between this clinically approved definition of tau PET positivity and a recently proposed universal scale-CenTauR-for the standardized quantification of abnormal tau aggregates.

Here, we assessed whether F-FDG uptake is a marker of disease activity and treatment response in AS or PsA, and explored the ability of F-FDG to predict treatment response. Patients with AS (n = 16) or PsA (n = 8) who were scheduled to initiate treatment with biologics were recruited.

We present the case of a middle-aged woman presenting with isolated IgG4-RD of left maxilla and nasal septum, confirmed with F-FDG PET/CT. She achieved complete metabolic response with multiple pharmacologic treatment, but 1 year later, she experienced local relapse, and FDG PET/CT found new additional lesions in humeral vasculature and lungs.
