Article Synopsis
  • This study aimed to test a new flexible stent for probing and stenting the nasolacrimal ducts (NLDs) in human cadavers.
  • A specialized bicanalicular stent was successfully inserted and retrieved from the NLDs of three adult cadaveric drainage systems using endoscopic guidance.
  • The findings suggest that this new silicone stent design is effective and may offer a less traumatic option for stenting NLDs compared to existing methods.
