Biological conversion of olive pomace into compost by using Trichoderma harzianum and Phanerochaete chrysosporium.

Olive pomace was composted by using a reactor for a period of 50 days in four bioreactors. Urea was added to adjust C/N ration between 25-30. At the end of 50 days of composting using Trichoderma harzianum and Phanerochaete chrysosporium, cellulose and lignin were highly degraded.
