Effects of dietary Mitracarpus scaber leaves extract on growth, physiological, antioxidants, and mucosal immune profiles of North African catfish, Clarias gariepinus, and resistance against Edwardsiella tarda infection.

This study evaluated the effect of Mitracarpus scaber leaves extract (MSLE) as a dietary supplement on growth performance, physiological, antioxidants, and mucosal immune profiles of North African catfish, Clarias gariepinus, and resistance to Edwardsiella tarda infection. Four isonitrogenous diets containing 0, 2, 4, or 6 MSLE g/kg were fed to North African catfish fingerlings (n = 240; mean weight = 5.80 g) for 56 days.
