Depersonalization-Derealization Disorder is an under-researched condition that is often left out of the larger discourse surrounding mental health and mental illness. This autoethnography examines the material and discursive tensions that are a product of my experience with Depersonalization-Derealization Disorder. In this critical self-exploration, I use communication privacy management theory, communication theory of resilience, and stigma management communication theory to unpack the communicative negotiations that accompany my disembodied experience, with the overarching goal of spreading awareness about Depersonalization-Derealization Disorder to help others make sense of their own diagnosis.

The first step is accurate diagnosis via electrocardiography (ECG), but one-third of all STEMI incidents go unrecognized and hence untreated.
Objective: To reduce missed diagnoses of STEMI.
Described is the creation, deployment, and evaluation of a video produced about the synthesis and applications of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). The goal of this project was to gauge the impact of viewing the video on high school students' conceptions of authentic chemistry practices and applications. Additionally, comparisons were made between the use of the video and more traditional face-to-face presentations given by professional scientists.

In this work a photosensitizer (PS) has been delivered to cancer cell lines for PDT by incorporation into the metal-organic framework (MOF) as an organic linker. By functionalizing the surface of MOF nanoparticles with maltotriose the PS can efficiently target cancer cells with preferential uptake into pancreatic and breast cancer cell lines.

We reported new and mild MOF synthesis methods that are simple and devised to be performed in high school or primarily undergraduate school settings. MOF applications were demonstrated by use of our synthesized MOFs in the capture of iodine as a potentially hazardous molecule from solution and as a drug delivery system.

In this paper, a series of n-type symmetrical perylene diimide derivatives (PTCDIs) with substituents (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), cyclohexane, acetic acid, or propionic acid) at located the nitrogens imide position were synthesized, and their solubility, optical features, thermal stability, as well as solution-phase interfacial self-assembly into one-dimensional (1D) nanofibers and related morphology were discussed in detail. Moreover, a simple but effective method, in situ deposition following in situ self-assembly, was developed to construct uniform electrodes over a large area coated with networked PTCDI nanofibers.
