Purpose: To assess the ocular health status of primary and secondary schoolchildren in Rwanda and to explore the use of the World Health Organization (WHO) primary eye care screening protocol.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional population-based study across 19 schools in Rwanda. Initial screening was carried out using the WHO screening protocol, whereby visual acuity was measured using a tumbling E Snellen chart (6/60 and 6/12).

Purpose: To assess patient experience of intravitreal injections using vital-signs, visual-experience, pain-rating and emotional response during intravitreal anti-VEGF injections.

Methods: A prospective observational study of patient experience of intravitreal anti-VEGF injections done following metrics were collected pre-injection, during injection, and post-injection: pain assessment using visual analog score, fear-response rating, visual-experience questionnaire, and vital-signs.

Results: A total of one-hundred-and-seventy-four patients undergoing intravitreal anti-VEGF injections for retinal pathologies were included in the study.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) pattern towards COVID-19, among patients presenting to eye care hospitals during the last phase of lockdown period.

Methods: A multicenter cross-sectional survey was conducted from May 15 to June 15, 2020 in five tertiary eye care hospitals in South India to assess the KAP towards COVID-19. Each of the hospitals belonged to one of the three different zones assigned in India based on number of infections.
