Objectives: To assess the prevalence of cutaneous and oral immune-related adverse events (irAEs) in cancer patients, risk factors for its development, and overall survival (OS).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective observational study which included 748 medical records of cancer patients who received immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). Demographic and clinicopathological characteristics were collected and analyzed.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the role of p16 in histologic characteristics and transition of Pleomorphic Adenoma (PA) to Carcinoma ex-PA (CxPA). So, 60 PA and 4 CxPA were histologic reviewed based on microscopic characteristics proposed by Hellquist, Triantafyllou and Dulguerov (PA) and Morais, Antony and Toluie (CxPA). Immunostaining for p16 was associated in different parenchyma and stroma of both tumors and Fisher's/chi-square tests and Mann-Whitney test were performed (SPSS v20.

To systematically summarize the evidence for photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) in the prevention and treatment of oral mucositis (OM) in patients undergoing cancer treatment. An electronic search was conducted in 8 databases and grey literature. PBMT is recommended for the management of OM resulting from cancer treatment, with several systematic reviews (SRs) being published in recent years on this topic.

Background: Opioids are the most effective drugs currently available for cancer pain management. The administration of morphine, in addition to its analgesic effect, can alter tumor development.
Objective: To characterize the immunoexpression of opioid receptors µ and κ in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma, and correlate it with prognostic factors, proliferation markers, and cell death.
The canonical Wnt pathway participates in inflammatory diseases and it is involved in neuropathic pain. This study evaluated the immunoexpression of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway in the articular cartilage of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and along the nociceptive trigeminal pathway in arthritic rats. For this, male Wistar rats were divided into Control (C) and Arthritic (RA) groups.

Although risk factors have been extensively discussed in the literature, the role of the DNA mismatch repair system remains unanswered. To evaluate the impact of the DNA mismatch repair (MMR) protein immunostaining on the tumor progression and prognosis of oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC).

The aim of this study was to evaluate the mycelial viability of edible and medicinal basidiomycetes, using 13 strains of Agaricus spp. and eight strains of non-Agaricus spp.

The current challenge is to establish sustainable national clubfoot treatment programs that utilize the Ponseti method and integrate it within a nation's governmental health system. The Brazilian Ponseti Program (Programa Ponseti Brasil) has increased awareness of the utility of the Ponseti method and has trained >500 Brazilian orthopaedic surgeons in it.

We evaluated the genetic variation of cassava accessions based on qualitative (binomial and multicategorical) and quantitative traits (continuous). We characterized 95 accessions obtained from the Cassava Germplasm Bank of Embrapa Mandioca e Fruticultura; we evaluated these accessions for 13 continuous, 10 binary, and 25 multicategorical traits. First, we analyzed the accessions based only on quantitative traits; next, we conducted joint analysis (qualitative and quantitative traits) based on the Ward-MLM method, which performs clustering in two stages.

Material And Methods: Thirty human maxillary premolars were divided into three groups: Group A (control), sound teeth; Group B, wide MOD cavities prepared and the pulp chamber roof removed and restored with resin composite without cusp coverage; Group C, same as Group B with 2.0 mm of buccal and palatal cusps reduced and restored with the same resin.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the intra-observer and interobserver reproducibility of Frykman, AO and Universal classifications for the fractures of the distal radius.
Methods: In this study, 40 radiographs of fractures of the distal radius were selected and classifed by orthopedists of different centers and levels of experience, determining the intra-observer and interobserver reproducibility of the classifications using Kappa statistic method.
Results: The medium intra-observer concordance observed was moderate to Frykman and Universal classifications and light to the AO system.
We describe 3 patients with a new malformation syndrome in 2 sibships in a large kindred from Bahia, Brazil. The parents in both sibships are consanguineous. The syndrome is characterized by malformations of the face, ears, hands and feet, plus mixed deafness and pseudopapilledema.
