Experimental Substantiation of the Use of Phenibut Combinations with Salicylic, Nicotinic, and Glutamic Acids in Cerebral Ischemia.

Background: One of the possible ways to increase the effectiveness of drugs based on gamma-aminobutyric acid derivatives is to introduce biologically active acids into their structure. In this regard, the compositions of phenibut with organic acids, which have a more pronounced psychotropic activity, low toxicity, and good tolerability, are of interest. The purpose of this study is to experimentally substantiate the use of phenibut combinations with organic acids in various forms of cerebral ischemia.

Moderating Role of Self-Compassion in the Relationships Between the Three Forms of Perfectionism with Anger, Aggression, and Hostility.

The prevalence of aggression in adolescents is on the rise, and it could be a serious public health concern. Studies have found positive relationships between perfectionism with anger, aggression, and hostility. However, the moderating role of self-compassion in the links between perfectionism with anger, aggression, and hostility has not been studied.

Effect of combined glucocorticoid therapy on bronchial asthma dynamics.

This work is aimed to compare the effectiveness of parenteral and inhalation bronchial asthma treatment in combination with glucocorticosteroids and bronchodilators. The study was conducted in 2020 in Botkin City Clinical Hospital (Moscow, the Russian Federation). Case histories of 106 patients diagnosed with bronchial asthma exacerbation of moderate severity were analyzed.
