Objective: To compare, among patients undergoing third molar surgeries, whether the use or omission of sutures improves postoperative clinical parameters.
Method: A systematic literature review was conducted to identify randomized clinical trials in humans. The steps of this review were conducted following the PRISMA protocol.
Objective: To compare the effectiveness of cyanoacrylate to other treatments or placebo in the management of dentin hypersensitivity (DH).
Materials And Methods: The present review was organized based on the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. The search aimed to answer the following question: is cyanoacrylate effective in the treatment of DH when compared to other treatments or placebo? The following databases were used: PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, BVS, Web of Science, Cochrane, Clinicaltrials.
Objectives: This study investigated the occurrence of vomiting and gastric dysmotility in dysphagic children with congenital Zika syndrome (CZS) and assessed possible associations of these findings with the severity of dysphagia and the presence of tube feeding.
Methods: Forty-six children with CZS were assessed for dysphagia, and the occurrence of vomiting, dietary volume tolerance <15 mL/kg, and feeding time per meal >30 minutes were evaluated. Gastric antrum ultrasonography was used to detect the frequency of contractions and measure antral areas (at fasting and 15 minutes postprandial), from which the gastric emptying rate (GER) was calculated.

Objective: The present study aims at evaluating the results obtained after in vitro fertilization in bad responders, using controlled ovarian hyperstimulation together with the use of gonadotrophin releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist (cetrorelix acetate) in a short protocol.
Methods: This is an analytical, longitudinal, retrospective and controlled study involving patients who underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures in the assisted reproduction program of the Reproferty clinic, in the municipality of São José dos Campos/SP, from January 2012 to December 2016. We collected the data obtained from the medical records of patients considered to have undergone controlled ovarian hyperstimulation using GnRH antagonist (cetrorelix acetate) and Growth Hormone (GH) in a short cycle protocol.
Objective: To investigate and analyze the relationship between individual ossicular erosion and air-bone gap (ABG) among patients with cholesteatoma.
Study Design: Retrospective case review.
Setting: Tertiary referral center.
Patients with borderline personality disorder can be difficult to treat on psychiatric units, especially since long-stay units specializing in the treatment of patients with borderline personality disorder are now few and far between. With the shorter length of hospital stay today, clinicians must work hard to establish the diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, adjust medications, stabilize the patient, and then find the appropriate outpatient treatment plan. Future research is needed to figure out the best way to accomplish these tasks and to identify which patients with borderline personality disorder respond to which treatments.
