Multiple myeloma (MM) is a hematological malignancy and poses significant therapeutic challenges. This review synthesizes evidence from pivotal clinical trials to guide induction treatment for transplant-eligible (TE), newly diagnosed MM (NDMM) patients. Emphasizing the evolution from three-drug to four-drug induction therapies, we highlight the integration of monoclonal antibodies, particularly CD38 recombinant monoclonal antibody agents, into treatment regimens.

Introduction: Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) encompass a wide range of diseases from precancerous states such as monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis to the rapidly growing Burkitt lymphoma. In 2022, we witnessed two new classifications for these malignant lymphoid tumors: The World Health Organization (WHO) 5th edition Classification of Haematolymphoid Tumours and the International Consensus Classification of Mature Lymphoid Neoplasms (ICC).

Areas Covered: Given our improved understanding of the mechanisms underlying lymphomagenesis at the molecular level, several novel agents have been or are being actively developed, including targeted therapies and immunotherapies.

Objective: The aim: Study of the levels of leptin and the growth modulator TGF-β1 in the blood serum of patients with hypertension, which occurs on the background of AO and without it.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Carbohydrate metabolism was studied by the enzymatic method, the level of insulin in the blood (by the enzyme immunoassay method), the oral glucose tolerance test and the calculation of the NOMA index.

Results: Results: The data obtained in the work indicate a significant role of leptin in the formation of hypertension itself and the development of obesity, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism disorders.
