Classic Kaposi sarcoma (KS) usually is a localized and slowly progressing disease that mainly affects elderly patients; therefore, local treatment generally is recommended. In this study, we evaluated the clinical efficacy of intralesional vinblastine (VNB) for the treatment of classic KS in 6 participants with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Results indicated that intralesional VNB injections may be an effective alternative treatment of classic KS in diabetic patients.

Objective: To report 8 patients with Sjögren's syndrome (SS) and localized nodular cutaneous amyloidosis and to examine serologic and immunohistologic findings that may link the 2 diseases.

Methods: The databases for 3 amyloidosis centers were searched for patients with localized nodular cutaneous amyloidosis and SS. Eight patients with this combination were identified, and clinical, serologic, and histologic parameters were retrospectively evaluated.

Primary cutaneous T-cell lymphomas are exceedingly rare in children and adolescents. However, mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most frequent primary cutaneous lymphoma diagnosed in childhood. Two cases of MF in siblings (a 14-year-old boy and his 10-year-old sister) are reported.
