Impact of COVID-19 pandemic on mother and child health in Sub-Saharan Africa - a review.

Prior to the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, there was a decrease in the maternal mortality rate in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) by 38%. This corresponds to a decline of 2.9% on average each year.
