Aim: This study aimed to determine the relationship between measures of obesity and serum lipid levels among hypertensive patients.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional study in which participants newly diagnosed with hypertension formed the study population. A range of demographic and anthropometric data was obtained, including weight, height, and waist and hip circumference.

Background: The Tei index is a Doppler-derived myocardial performance index. It is a measure of the combined systolic and diastolic myocardial performance of both the left and right ventricles.
