This review examines the various obstacles faced by children with ADHD in Africa, focusing on the lack of awareness and stigma surrounding the disorder, limited access to mental health services, educational system constraints, economic limitations and cultural beliefs and practices. The review underscores the significance of public awareness campaigns and educational initiatives to dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding ADHD.
