Art based science materials engage students for learning all of the unseen microscobic creatures in easy way microbiology field. In this study we aimed to visualize bacterial and fungal species in artistic way. Inoculation of the colourful strains on agar plate as painting the agar with bacteria, provides beautiful round scenes and clear reminiscence related with the species learning for microbe world.

Türkiye's 3-Year Coronavirus Disease 2019 Publication Performance in the Shadow of the Pandemic: A Bibliometric Analysis.

The pandemic created by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has led researchers to study to deal with this infection. The number of studies about it being performed and published is increasing over time. Due to the dramatic growth of COVID-19 scientific publications, we conducted a bibliometric and visualized study to better understand the progress, collaborations, and trend topics of COVID-19 publications in Türkiye.

Publication Trends on Infective Endocarditis: Comprehensive Bibliometric Analysis and Visualization Between 1892 and 2022.

Background: In recent years, studies reported that the incidence of infective endocarditis (IE) has increased despite the decrease in rheumatic heart diseases, great advances in medical and surgical treatment methods, and prophylactic antibiotic therapies. However, there is no bibliometric analysis based on the visual mapping method in the literature. In the study, we aimed to analyze the hot topics in IE, the distribution of publications in terms of country, institution, journal, author, and their relationships by assessing IE articles published in the 130 years between 1892 and 2022.

Homologous or heterologous COVID-19 vaccine schemes: comparison of immune responses and side effects.

Real-life data are needed regarding the appropriate time and selection of vaccination strategies, homologous or heterologous. We aimed to compare neutralizing antibody levels and side effects in different vaccination schemes. The study included 310 Health Care Workers (HCWs) vaccinated with 5 different schemes.

Heterologous booster COVID-19 vaccination elicited potent immune responses in HCWs.

The objective of our study was to evaluate the antibody responses of health care workers (HCWs) who were vaccinated with booster dose BNT162b2 6 months after 2 doses of the CoronoVac vaccine. The study included 318 HCWs vaccinated with inactive CoronaVac SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in 2 doses. Anti-spike/RBD IgG levels were measured immediately before and 1 month after the booster dose.

Aims: Despite high vaccination rates, increasing case numbers continue to be reported with the identification of new variants of concern, and the issue of durability of the vaccine-induced immune response remains hot topic. Real-life data regarding time-dependent immunogenicity of inactivated COVID-19 vaccines are scarce. We aimed to investigate the changes in the antibody at the different times after the second dose of the CoronaVac vaccine.

Biofilm Formation and Antimicrobial Susceptibility of Non-Diphtheria Strains Isolated from Blood Cultures: First Report from Turkey.

Objective: Non-diphtheriae Corynebacterium strains have been recognized as important pathogens after decades of confusion regarding their microbiological classification and clinical significance. The aim of this study was to identify non-diphtheriae Corynebacterium strains and the prevalence of biofilm formation and antimicrobial resistance.

Method: In total, 126 non-diphtheriae Corynebacterium strains were isolated from blood cultures of inpatients with bacteremia in our hospital between January 2015 and January 2020.
