Article Synopsis
  • A 4-year-old girl experienced speech issues and left-side weakness, leading to imaging that revealed multiple strokes and a significant right axillary artery aneurysm.
  • She underwent surgery to remove and reconstruct the aneurysm using a saphenous vein graft, but two years later, a new mass developed near the original surgery site.
  • Further examination revealed that the new progressive lesion originated from an undetected 1-mm myopericytoma found in scans after the initial procedure.
