Ten patients had intrasynovial tendon grafting harvested from the toes for secondary flexor tendon reconstruction in nine fingers and one thumb in our institutes from 2009 to 2014. The vascular anatomy of perforators varies between individuals; thus, accurate preoperative assessment of perforators is essential for safely planning perforator flaps. Perforator computed tomographic angiography (P-CTA) with multidetector-row computed tomography (MDCT) is one of the best available methods to precisely reveal the 3-dimensional anatomic details of perforators. No-choice feeding tests using ethanol, chloroform, and acetone extractives of teak () heartwood clearly showed feeding deterrent activity and toxicity to the subterranean termite . The amount of 2-methylanthraquinone (MAQ) in teak wood extractives was not related to the feeding deterrents or toxicity, as shown by the no-choice feeding tests conducted using crude extractives containing various amounts of MAQ, MAQ alone, and fractions of crude extractives. As a native pest, the subterranean termite was more tolerant to the fractions of crude extractives than , and the mortality observed in was not due to the presence of MAQ.
