One group whose positive body image experiences remain under-explored is individuals who identify as nonbinary, gender fluid, and/or genderqueer (including other nonbinary identities). Thus, we sought to answer the questions: What does it look like to have a positive body image for a nonbinary person? and How do nonbinary persons form and maintain a positive body image? To answer these questions, we conducted in-depth, semi-structured interviews with 15 nonbinary individuals who were assessed as having positive body image using the Body Appreciation Scale-2 (Tylka & Wood-Barcalow, 2015a). This study evaluated the association between the transmigration of monocyte subpopulations that contributes to atherosclerosis development, along with surrogate biomarkers of inflammation and atherosclerosis, through carotid intima-media thickness (cIMT) measurements of 72 people with HIV (PWH) on suppressive antiretroviral therapy (ART). We found that the transmigration of intermediate monocytes was positively correlated with D-dimer and cIMT, suggesting that intermediate monocytes may have a greater propensity to promote cardiovascular disease (CVD) in PWH on ART.

Background/objective: Newborn infant skin is functional but immature, and diapering products can play a significant role in infant diapered skin health. Previous work demonstrated a regimen consisting of a diaper with an emollient and apertures on the inner liner (topsheet) with an acidic, pH-buffered wipe (Regimen A) lowered newborn skin pH and reduced the enzymatic activity on skin post-stool cleaning versus a regimen without these features (Regimen B). Background: Intra-amniotic infection or inflammation is common in early preterm birth and associated with substantial neonatal lung morbidity owing to fetal exposure to proinflammatory cytokines and infectious organisms. Amniotic fluid interleukin 8, a proinflammatory cytokine, was previously correlated with the development of neonatal bronchopulmonary dysplasia, but whether amniotic fluid cytokines or placental pathology more accurately predicts neonatal lung pathology and morbidity is unknown. Methylammonium lead halide perovskite-based solar cells have demonstrated efficiencies as high as 24.2 %, highlighting their potential as inexpensive and solution-processable alternatives to silicon solar cell technologies.
