The aims of this systematic review are A1; to estimate sarcopenia prevalence in IBD patients, A2; to investigate its impact on IBD patients, and A3; the effectiveness of nutritional interventions on muscle mass and/or strength in IBD patients.
Methods: On 28 July 2021, three electronic databases were used to identify eligible studies, including peer-reviewed studies (randomised controlled trials [RCTs], non-RCTs, observation studies) in adult (⩾ 18 years) IBD patients.
Current multi-agent frameworks usually use centralized, fixed communication infrastructures for the entities that are deployed using them. This decreases the robustness of the system but is less challenging when having to deal with mobile agents that can migrate between nodes. We introduce, in the context of the F (Fast and Lightweight Agent Shell) multi-entity deployment framework, methods to build decentralized interaction infrastructures which support migrating entities.

To this end, the study was focused on using vinyl benzyl trimethylammonium chloride (VBTAC), a water-soluble monomer with known antibacterial properties, and mineral-enriched chitosan extracted from shrimp shells, to prepare the semi-IPNs. By using chitosan, which still contains the native minerals (mainly calcium carbonate), the study intends to justify that the stability and efficiency of the semi-IPN bactericidal devices can be modified and better improved.

Technological advances in four-dimensional (4D) flow MRI have now made nonsedated free-breathing acquisition protocols a viable clinical option, but the method requires prospective validation in neonates.
Purpose: To test the feasibility of compressed sensing (CS) 4D flow MRI in the neonatal population and to compare with standard previously validated two-dimensional (2D) phase-contrast (PC) flow MRI.

Therefore, we have designed molecularly imprinted polymer films and quaternary ammonium-functionalized- kaolin microparticles to target specifically Gram-negative bacteria (GNB) and Gram-positive bacteria (GPB) in wastewaters and ensure a higher purification rate by working in tandem. According to the bacteriological indicators, a reduction by 90 % was registered for GNB (total coliforms and Escherichia coli O157) and by 77 % for GPB (Clostridium perfringens) in wastewaters.

In this work, we illustrate the potential of using F-containing ligands as future magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents and as probes in magnetic resonance spectroscopy studies by significantly increasing their magnetic resonance detectability through the signal amplification by reversible exchange (SABRE) hyperpolarization method. We achieve F SABRE polarization in a wide range of molecules, including those essential to medication, and analyze how their steric bulk, the substrate loading, polarization transfer field, pH, and rate of ligand exchange impact the efficiency of SABRE.
