Titanium dioxide (100 mg/kg body weight) was delivered for 15 days to induce liver fibrosis, either alone or in conjunction with resveratrol (30 mg/kg body weight) therapy for the same duration. Resveratrol has been identified as a crucial therapeutic drug that provides an alternative treatment method for TiO-induced liver fibrosis by mitigating inflammation, oxidative stress, and the expressions of α-SMA and 8-OHdG.

Within the scope of this study, a polymer-based optical sensor that can polymerize under UV radiation and produce fluorescence when suitable functional monomers and crosslinkers were prepared for aluminum determination in yogurt, soybean flour, and meat samples. Parameters such as operating range, pH, sensitivity, selectivity, determination limit, and foreign ion effect were thoroughly investigated to validate the developed method and characterize this polymer-based membrane. The designed sensor has wavelengths of 322 nm for fluorescence excitation and 356 nm for emission, respectively.

A thorough clinical evaluation, including both physical examination and radiological imaging, is required to distinguish benign subcutaneous emphysema from necrotizing soft tissue infections. In this article, we report a 12-year-old female patient with benign subcutaneous emphysema of the upper extremity and highlight the importance of an accurate diagnosis to avoid unnecessary surgical intervention.
