[The health conditions of children being left of parental custody as factor of refusal of admission into the surrogate family].

To investigate the causes of the denial by prospective foster parents to accept orphan children and children without parental custody into their family a special study was organized. The medical inferences of 307 children, inmates of children's homes registered in the data base of Regional of Ivanovskaya oblast and comparative characteristics of their somatic health were analyzed.
