In adult male mice with high (HR) and low (LR) resistance to hypoxia, on days 21 and 28 after subcutaneous injection of Lewis lung carcinoma cells, a morphological and morphometric study of the primary tumor nodes and metastases in the lungs was carried out. Peripheral blood parameters and subpopulation composition of blood cells, the expression of genes responsible for the development of inflammation (Nfkb, Il1b, Il6, Tnfa, Il10, and Tgfb) and the response to hypoxia (Hif1a) in the liver were also assessed. The tumors were detected in 84.

Spontaneous and stimulated production of cytokines by peripheral blood cells obtained from the caudal vein of male Wistar rats was assessed before testing their resistance to oxygen deficiency in a decompression chamber. To study the spontaneous production of cytokines, heparinized blood cells were incubated in a culture medium (24 h, 5% CO, 37°C) and the content of proinflammatory cytokines IL-6 and TNFα and anti-inflammatory IL-10 in the culture medium was assessed by ELISA. To stimulate cytokine production, blood cells were incubated for 24 h with LPS, phytohemagglutinin, and concanavalin A at final concentrations of 2, 4, and 4 μg, respectively.

Objective: Aim: To investigate the dynamics of law enforcement officers' physical and mental health components while performing their duties during the war in Ukraine.

Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The research, which was conducted in 2022-2024, involved 114 law enforcement officers (male) from the Kharkiv oblast (Ukraine) of different ages: under 30 (n = 35), under 40 (n = 41), over 40 (n = 38). To test law enforcement officers' physical and mental health indicators, we used 3 methods: 1) "Fatigue-Monotony-Oversaturation-Stress"; 2) "Well-being-Activity-Mood"; 3) "Assessment of Nervous and Emotional Stress".
