The indicator of provision with medical personnel under primary health care support significantly varies in Subjects of the Russian Federation. This indicator is affected by such territorial characteristics as long distance of territory, poor transport accessibility, low population density, migration processes. The purpose of the study is to analyze indicators of medical personnel resources in state health care system of the Transbaikal Krai.

The organization and implementation of quality management system in medical organization based on internal quality control and safety of medical activities, permits to implement continuous improvement of organization functioning, to eliminate errors or undesirable occurrences as well as to prevent causes of premature mortality and to contribute into increasing of indicator of life expectancy.The implementation of risk-oriented approach in management of medical organization within the framework of internal quality control and safety of medical activities is actual and necessary condition in accordance with adopted regulatory legal acts. Currently, in the healthcare system there are no developed and approved methods of developing infrastructure of risk management in medical organization.

The article presents information about results of implementation of program of additional education of general practitioners within the framework of cognitive-behavioral prevention of iron deficiency in women. The prospective analysis of level of corresponding awareness and skills of physicians from sample (n=120) and control (n=120) groups before and after training established statistically significant differences in favor of physicians who were trained within the framework of experimental work program that confirms the effectiveness of the last one.

The strategic objectives of health care are targeted to preserving health of mother and child and are implemented through complex activities of various state institutions of maternity and childhood protection system with predominant focus on medical social and economic efficiency. The purpose of study is sociological hygienic evaluation of actual state of maternity and childhood health protection system at the Trans-Baikal Territory.
