The article represents results of first year research within large project "Complex approaches in public health state management in Aral region" (implementation term 2014-2016). Aral region problems is a bright example of ecologic disaster with severe social economic consequences, influencing directly or indirectly all countries. The article covers complex ecologic and social hygienic evaluation of evironmental hazards in ecologically unfavorable zones and public health assessment of Kyzylorda region.

Aralsk climate over recent years appeared to be characterized by positive temperature anomalies (within 1-2 degrees C). Air pollution in Aralsk territory depends on increased air temperature (over 35 degrees C), on lay of land (general slope towards Aral sea) and wind scheme, with repeated south-west (11%), west (8%) and south (6%) winds result in high levels of air pollution with low-disperse particles of dust.

The problem of recycling and disposal of solid waste from metallurgical, energy and petrochemical industries is becoming more acute problem for Kazakhstan. Complex of occupational hazards revealed--discomfortable microclimate, inadequate illumination, higher levels of noise and electromagnetic rays--determines occupational health risk for videodisplay terminal users. The authors specified and implemented measures on preserving performance and health (change of videodisplay terminal, increase of workplace square, occupational exercises).

Suggested evaluation methods provide qualitative and quantitative assessment of climate parameters for individual areas of residence. Marking areas according to residence comfort for population, based on analysis of geographic position of the studied territory, in accordance with repetition of meteorologic processes, could specify major factors influencing climate on urban territories of modem Kazakhstan cities.
