Context: Previous studies have shown that the prevalence of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) may vary according to race/ethnicity, although a few studies have assessed women of different ethnicities who live in similar geographic and socioeconomic conditions.

Objective: To determine the prevalence of PCOS in an unselected multiethnic population of premenopausal women.

Design: A multicenter prospective cross-sectional study.

Methods: A cross-sectional retrospective study was conducted, analyzing clinical, demographic, and drug susceptibility testing data on 1440 patients.

Clinical characteristics of COVID-19 in patients with tuberculosis and factors associated with the disease severity.

Background: Data on patients with COVID-19 who have pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) are limited. In this study, we compared the clinical characteristics of patients with COVID-19/TB and patients with COVID-19 only. In addition, we analyzed the links between the severity of COVID-19 disease and the clinical characteristics of patients with COVID-19/TB.

Synthesis and study of -substituted methylthio derivatives of cobalt bis(dicarbollide).

The -methylthio derivatives of cobalt bis(dicarbollide) were synthesized by reaction of anhydrous CoCl with -carborane [7-MeS-7,8-CBH] and isolated as a mixture of -[1,1'-(MeS)-3,3'-Co(1,2-CBH)] and -[1,2'-(MeS)-3,3'-Co(1,2-CBH)] isomers. The structures of both isomers were studied using DFT quantum chemical calculations. The most preferable geometry of rotamers and the stabilization energy of -methylthio derivatives of cobalt bis(dicarbolide) were calculated.

Pathogenesis of Warthin's tumors.

Introduction: Warthin's tumor, also known as papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum, monomorphic adenoma, or adenolymphoma, is a benign cystic tumor of the salivary glands containing abundant lymphocytes and lymph node-like stroma. It is named after the pathologist Aldred Scott Warthin, who described two cases in 1929.

Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the pathogenesis of Warthin's tumor.
