The pseudolymphoma of the stomach can be diagnosed neither by clinical, nor by X-ray or endoscopic examination. In most cases surgery is done because gastric carcinoma is suspected, and the diagnosis of lymphoma is established upon microscopic examination of the resected specimen. In many cases complications such as bleeding, ulcers or erosions give rise to further diagnostic procedures.
