Objective: To evaluate the effects of the Pecs II block on postoperative pain in patients undergoing breast reduction surgery.
Materials And Methods: This prospective, comparative, and observational study was conducted with 53 patients, with American Society of Anesthesiologists I-II, between the ages of 18 and 65, and undergoing bilateral breast reduction surgery. The patients were divided into two groups: Pecs II block with general anesthesia (Pecs group; n = 26) and local infiltration anesthesia with general anesthesia (control group; n = 27).
Pelvic lipomatosis is an uncommon disease with no clear etiology and it occurs secondary to deposition of a large amount of fatty tissue in the pelvis. This deposition causes compression to the rectum, bladder, and venous structures. Because of this compression, various symptoms, such as recurrent urinary infections, dysuria, tenesmus, and constipation, have mostly been reported.

CYLD is a tumor suppressor and a deubiquitination enzyme. CYLD negatively regulates the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway by deubiquitinating Dvl proteins.

The first aim of the present study was to identify CD133/CD44 DU145 prostate CSCs and compare their profiles with non-CSCs as bulk counterparts of the population. Subsequently, the two populations continued to be three-dimensional multicellular spheroids.
