Pteridophyte distribution of the Urals and adjacent areas: a dataset.

Background: Data on the species diversity and distribution of pteridophytes (lycophytes and ferns) in the Urals and adjacent areas are presented. The dataset includes 13,742 observations of two classes Lycopodiopsida and Polypodiopsida. In total, the dataset contains information on 16 families, 28 generas, 65 species, four subspecies and nine interspecies hybrids.

[Features of proliferative response of T-cells on hepatitis c virus antigens in healthy individuals contacting with this virus].

Aim: Evaluation of CD3+ and CD3-/CD56+ proliferative response on hepatitis C virus antigens in healthy medical workers.

Materials And Methods: The study included 15 medical workers with length of service of 2 and more years without common risk factors (blood and blood products transfusion, abdominal operations, invasive procedures, use of intravenous drugs). Control group consisted of 9 healthy individuals without risk factors.

Transduction of the locus of stability to high threonine concentrations (Thrr) into E. coli str M1 and C600 resulted in enhancements of the amino acid production and retardation of the culture development. Besides the mutation caused increase of the specific activity of glutamate synthase, aspartate kinase and homoserine dehydrogenase.

Crystal protein formed by Bacillus subtilis cells.

Electron microscopic investigation of ultrathin sections of Bacillus subtilis Cgr4 cells revealed the presence of crystal-like inclusions which were formed of spheric homogeneous subunits. The frequency of cells with a crystal-like inclusion in the culture approached 1%. The appearance of the crystal protein in cells coincided in time with spore morphogenesis.
