A clinical case of consistent use of botulinum toxin type A (BTA) and azoximer bovhialuronidase (BA) in a 69-year-old patient who suffered an ischemic stroke (II) with right-sided hemiparesis is presented. BTA (incobotulotoxin) was injected under ultrasound control (ultrasound) into the muscles of the target pathological patterns at a dose of 500 units. After 3 weeks, under the control of ultrasound navigation, BA was injected into the 2 most fibrotic shoulder muscles at a dose of 3.

Introduction: Soil microbiome is a major source of physiologically active microorganisms, which can be potentially mobilized by adding various nutrients. To study this process, a long-term experiment was conducted on the decomposition of oat straw and leaf litter using soil as a microbial inoculum.

Methods: Combined analyses of enzymatic activity and NGS data for 16S rRNA gene amplicon and full metagenome sequencing were applied to study taxonomic, carbohydrate-active enzyme (CAZy), and polysaccharide utilization loci (PULs) composition of microbial communities at different stages of decomposition between substrates.

is an emerging multidrug-resistant fungal pathogen causing nosocomial transmission and invasive infections with high mortality. This study aimed to investigate the genetic relationships, enzymatic activities, and drug-resistance profiles of isolates to evaluate the population and epidemiological diversity of candidiasis in Russia. A total of 112 clinical isolates of were analyzed from May 2017 to March 2023 in 18 hospitals across Saint Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, and Moscow.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Relatox, a type of botulinum toxin, in treating focal spasticity of the upper limb caused by cerebrovascular accidents or traumatic brain injuries.
  • It involved 210 patients divided into two groups; one received Relatox injections, while the other received Dysport. Both groups showed a reduction in spasticity over 12 weeks, with no significant differences between the two treatments.
  • Various measurements were used to assess spasticity, disability, pain, and treatment satisfaction, and both medications were found to be effective, with a report on adverse events collected throughout the study.

The rapid expansion of scientific literature necessitates developing efficient data extraction and analysis methods. This study presents an innovative approach to automating the extraction of cryoprotectant information from scientific publications using a generative pretrained transformer (GPT) model integrated with a Telegram bot interface. Our system processes and analyzes scientific articles to identify and extract relevant data on cryoprotectants and bacteria, significantly reducing the time required for researchers to gather essential information.
