An Infrared Study of Gas-Phase Metal Nitrosyl Ion-Molecule Complexes.

We present a combined experimental and quantum chemical study of gas-phase group 9 metal nitrosyl complexes, M(NO) (M = Co, Rh, Ir). Experimental infrared photodissociation spectra of mass-selected ion-molecule complexes are presented in the region 1600 cm to 2000 cm which includes the NO stretch. These are interpreted by comparison with the simulated spectra of energetically low-lying structures calculated using density functional theory.

Cost comparison of treating chronic hepatitis C genotype one with pegylated interferons in Ukraine.

Based on the pivotal trial showing no clinically relevant differences between α-2b (Peg-α-2b) and α-2a (Peg-α-2a) combined with ribavirin for treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1 infection in Ukraine, a cost-minimization analysis was performed using a 1 year time horizon and both a health care and patients' perspective. A decision tree reflects treatment pathways. Drug costs were based on drug labeling and adjusted to the average body mass in Ukraine.

[Squamosus cancer of head and neck area. Problems of the surgical treatment of the regional metastasis].

Unlabelled: In the structure of oncology disease head and neck tumors consist of about 20%. For the cancer of the larynx, pharyngolaryngeal cancer, cancer of the mouth and oropharyngeal cancer next factors have influence for the treatment planning: spreding of the tumor, presence of the regional and distant metastasis and general state of the patient.

Aim Of The Work: surgery approaches for the treatment of the regional metastasis for above mentioned tumors are determined.

[The clinical course and cardiohemodynamic status of patients with different variants of diphtheritic myocarditis].

The clinical course was studied as was the condition of cardiohemodynamics in 126 patients with different variants of diphtherial myocarditis (DM) versus 23 patients with unspecific infectious and allergic myocarditis (UIAM). Early DM in the majority of cases runs a moderately severe or severe course because of a stronger--by comparison with late DM and UIAM--predisposition to cardiac insufficiency, sinus bradycardia and heart blocks as well as of a moderately severe systolic dysfunction of the left ventricle (LV), as evidenced by Echo-CG. Late DM runs, on the whole, a mild course, and is associated with minimal LV systolic function inadequacies.
