[Influence of breads with use of barley, buckwheat and oat flours and barley flakes on postprandial glycaemia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus].

It was investigated the influence of breads with use of barley, buckwheat and oat flours and barley flakes on postprandial glycaemia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It was shown that consumption of breads with use of barley and buckwheat flours is accompanied less marked postprandial glycaemic reaction in compared with standard loading of carbohydrates (wheat bread). Also it was noted greater increase of postprandial glycaemia in consumption of bread with use of barley flakes in compared with consumption of wheat bread inclusive equivalent amount of carbohydrates.

[A system for predicting the acute toxicity of chemical substances].

A method has been proposed to recognize and predict the range values of acute toxicity (LD50) and for this a system has been developed. The essence of the method is to gradually decrease the predictable toxicity ranges for the test substances in a stepwise manner while advancing within the formed predictive complexes. The transmission of information on the structure of compounds along this complex is determined by the preset logistic scheme along which narrower LD50 ranges are designated.

[Effect of combined psychocorrection on dynamics of pain syndrome and psychological status of patients with spinal osteochondrosis].

Aim: To study effectiveness of a new psychocorrection method (combined use of neuroleptic trifluoperasine and psychorelaxation therapy using biological feedback) in rehabilitation of patients with long-term pain syndrome provoked by spinal osteochondrosis (SOC) to determine predictors of response to this method of psychocorrection.

Material And Methods: 132 patients with SOC and associated pain syndrome were examined using pain assessing methods and psychological tests.

Results: Psychocorrection including neuroleptic significantly raises the efficacy of SOC treatment and relieves pain, hypochondric fixations and depressive disorders.

[Pain perception and psychological status of patients suffering from spinal osteochondrosis with pain syndrome].

132 patients suffering from spinal osteochondrosis with pain syndrome were examined for pain perception and psychological status. Pain intensity in such patients showed association with hypochondriac and anxiodepressive disorders combination with rigidity and development of fixations. Deterioration of life quality correlated with severity of pain syndrome and such features as unsatisfaction, tension, anxiety, rigidity, fixation of attention on personal feelings, pessimistic outlook, low stress resistance.
