[Comparative analysis of in-hospital and long-term results of patients with acute dysfunction of coronary bypass grafts depending on treatment tactics].

Objective: Comparative analysis of in-hospital and long-term mortality of patients in whom acute dysfunction of coronary bypass grafts was detected in the early postoperative period depending on conservative or surgical tactics.

Material And Methods: The study is a retrospective analysis of data from 8801 patients who underwent elective coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) between 2011 and 2022 at the Federal Center for Cardiovascular Surgery (Russia, Chelyabinsk). Among them, 196 patients underwent emergency coronary artery bypass grafting due to suspected perioperative myocardial infarction in the early postoperative period.

Towards Amplified Probing of Weak Intermolecular Interactions on the External Surfaces of Molecular Capsules.

We report a sensitive method for comparing weak interactions between aryl rings located on the external surfaces of equilibrating homo- and heterodimeric capsules. Two identical self-complementary resorcin[4]arene tetrabenzoate molecules and one tetramethylammonium cation form in CDCl hydrogen-bonded homodimeric capsules whose exteriors are decorated with four tight pairs of weakly interacting aryl rings. The pair wise mixing of six different homodimers establishes their equilibria with the corresponding heterodimeric species in which two types of aryl rings exert on each other some gentle forces.

[Peculiariities of diagnostic parameters in patients with acute myocardial lesion after coronary artery bypass grafting].

Annually, up to 850 000 coronary aortic bypass graft operations are performed worldwide. Despite modern technical equipment ensuring a high level of safety of the procedure, currently important remains a problem related to intraoperative myocardial damage in using artificial circulation. Early detection and clinical assessment of myocardial ischaemia often present a difficult task.

Sulfonimide-Based Dendrimers: Progress in Synthesis, Characterization, and Potential Applications.

There are more than 50 families of dendrimers, and some of which, such as polyamidoamine PAMAM, are well studied, and some are just starting to attract the attention of researchers. One promising type of dendrimers is sulfonimide-based dendrimers (SBDs). To date, SBDs are used in organic synthesis as starting reagents for the convergent synthesis of higher generations dendrimers, in materials science as alternative electrolyte solutions for fuel cells, and in medicinal chemistry as potential substances for drug transfer procedures.

[Role of cerebral oximetry in prediction of hyperperfusion syndrome after carotid endarterectomy].

Objective: The purpose of the study was to carry out a retrospective analysis of alterations in regional oxygenation (rSO2) of the brain at all stages of carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in order to detect predictors of ischaemia and hyperperfusion of the brain.

Patients And Methods: In a total of 169 patients during CEA under general anaesthesia we registered rSO2 after induction of narcosis, prior to carotid artery cross-clamping, at 2 minutes and each 10 minutes after cross-clamping, before re-establishing blood flow, at 2 and 5 minutes thereafter, and finally at the end of the operation. We evaluated the baseline parameters and intraoperative alterations in regional oxygenation depending on clinical and instrumental data.
