Variations in orientation relationships between rutile inclusions and garnet host relate to magmatic growth zoning.

Unlabelled: Rutile inclusions in almandine-spessartine garnet from a peraluminous pegmatoid from the Moldanubian zone (Bohemian Massif, AT) show distinct changes in aspect ratio, shape preferred orientations (SPO) and crystallographic orientation relationships (COR) along the transition between microstructurally different growth zones in the garnet core and rim. For identification of the COR characteristics we pool specific CORs based on their common axial relationship into three COR groups: Group 103/111, Group 001/111 and Group 001/100. The rutile inclusions in the garnet core domains are elongated along the four Grt 111 directions and are dominated by COR Group 103/111.

[Collective immunity against poliomyelitis among the population of several regions of Russia].

The goal of this work was to estimate the collective immunity against poliomyelitis among the population of 8 regions and republics of Russia. The rates of the collective immunity against poliomyelitis allow the polio vaccination quality to be estimated and the population protection rate to be simultaneously demonstrated. A total of 8 regions (2138 people) were tested.

[A relationship between cardiac structural and functional parameters, left ventricular contractility, and coronary atherosclerosis in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus].

Objective: To study the association between echocardiographic (EchoCG) parameters in type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) patients and myocardial contractility and coronary angiographic status as evidenced by ventriculography and coronarography.

Material And Methods: One hundred and thirty-eight patients with morphologically verified coronary heart disease (CHD), including 74 patients with verified type 2 DM in the study group and 64 patients without carbohydrate metabolic disturbances in the control group, were examined. All the patients underwent EchoCG and coronary angiography with ventriculography.
