The results of treatment of 468 patients, suffering goiter, were analyzed. Surgical access and the operative intervention volume was chosen on background of analysis of the patients preoperative and intraoperative examination data. Extrafascial method of surgical intervention guarantees the blood loss absence and radicality of the operation, as well as reduction of postoperative complications rate.
