Objective: To assess the effectiveness and tolerance of the metallic stent Memokath® 051 in the management of patients with chronic ureteral stricture treated by JJ stenting.
Patients And Methods: A prospective observational study included 16 patients with chronic ureteral stricture managed with JJ stents. They were all treated with Memokath® 051 metallic stents.
Purpose: Compare, in a retrospective study, the indications, the efficiency and the morbidity of the flexible ureteroscopy (URS) and the mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mini-perc) for the treatment of the renal lithiasis less or equal to 2 cm.
Materials And Methods: One hundred and forty-four operated patients: 101 by "mini-perc" and 43 by URS. Pre-, per- and post-operative data prospectively entered in a computerized database.
Aims: Analyse changes in voiding patterns after the treatment of female urodynamic stress incontinence (USI) with suburethral transobturator tape (TOT).
Patients And Methods: Prospective study of 50 women with pure stress urinary incontinence treated between March 2004 and February 2006; mean age was 53+/-13 (34-87); parity was 2+/-0.75; mean follow-up was of 15 months (7-43).
Objective: To describe the management of patients with an erosive complication after tension free vaginal tape. To establish a diagnostic approach, describe the results on symptoms and continence after a conservative surgery.
Methods: Retrospective descriptive study of 38 patients supported for complications after suburethral synthetic sling.
Objective: To evaluate the reliability and clinical value of percutaneous biopsy in the diagnosis of small solid renal tumours (less or equal to 4 cm).
Material: Fifty-three patients underwent biopsy for solid renal tumour less than 4 cm in diameter (mean age: 61 years). The mean diameter was 2.
