Background/aim: We aimed to determine in which cases this procedure may be more effective based on the data of patients who underwent decompressive hemicraniectomy (DHC).
Material And Methods: Overall, 47 patients who underwent DHC due to acute middle cerebral artery (MCA) infarction between January 2014 and january 2019 were retrospectively investigated. Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of Gamma Knife radiosurgery (GKRS) as the primary and only therapy for the treatment of cavernous sinus hemangiomas (CSH) and to report the tumor volume dynamics, course of symptoms, and complications after stereotactic radiosurgery.
Material And Methods: A total of 10 CSH patients were treated with GKRS using a median margin dose of 14.2Gy (range 13-16Gy).
