Objective: The cytochrome 11B2 aldosterone synthase gene (CYP11B2) that links to aldosterone synthase enzyme synthesis changes and blood pressure regulation is of particular interest among the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system encoding genes.

Methods: One-hundred hypertensive patients with target-organ damaging (2nd stage), moderate, high or very high cardiovascular risk were involved in the case-control study. Mean age was 59.

[МОRPHOLOGY OF THE DIABETIC FOOT SYNDROME].

Local morphological changes were studied in dynamics in 215 patients, suffering diabetic foot syndrome. While an adequate local treatment conduction, in accordance to the standards elaborated, the histological investigations data have shown the oedema, the cellular infiltration and microcirculatory disorders reduction in the wound boundary zone. In 1 week of treatment in biopsies a young granulating tissue was observed, consisting of big quantity of vascular loops, oriented perpendicularly towards the wound surface and multiple bundles of fibroblasts.

[Renal and tissue fibrinolysis dysfunction in secondary pyelonephritis in children before and after the surgery].

Indexes of fibrinolytic and proteolytic blood and urine activity in secondary pyelonephritis in children up to and after operative treatment for obstructive pyelonephritis were studied. The simulating method of hydronephrosis and secondary pyelonephritis was elaborated, changes of the tissues fibrinolytic activity of pyelourethral segment region in conditions of experiment and in operated children were studied. After the operation the conditions for urodynamics disorder occurrence are creating, in particular, lowering of activity of urine urokinase, disorder of tissues enzymatic fibrinolysis of pyelourethral segment with activation of general hemocoagulative potential, what promotes the urolythic disease and hydronephrosis occurrence and necessity for according correction.

[The extracorporeal connection of a donor spleen in the treatment of anaerobic sepsis].

In 12 patients with anaerobic sepsis, extracorporeal connection of donor spleen, its sections and transfusion of perfusates of xenospleen were used in the complex treatment. A positive result--reduction of intoxication, improvement of general state, normalization of immunologic indices--has been obtained.
