[THE DEVELOPMENT OF TELEMEDICINE TECHNOLOGIES AND THE ATTITUDE OF SENIOR CITIZENS TO THEIR USE].

The purpose of the study presented in this paper is to consider the attitude of senior citizens (aged 65 years and older) to telemedicine technologies and their readiness to use them.Telemedicine has become widespread in recent years, and its use will expand in the near future. Telemedicine technologies have proved to be an effective tool for solving a number of problems: providing access to medical consultations, prompt response of medical workers to patient requests, monitoring of health indicators, etc.

Promising Methods of Antibacterial Finishing of Textile Materials.

A review article, containing information on the options, possibilities, and prospects for the development of antibacterial finishing of textile materials, is presented. A wide range of products designed to impart antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties to textile materials is considered. The main factors determining the appropriate decision on the technological and functional choice of the protective composition are presented, including the nature of the fiber-forming polymer, the tasks that the resulting material is designed to solve, and its application options.

COVID-19 is a crisis that has radically changed the world, as illustrated by the social, psychological, and economic consequences of the spread of infection. This pandemic is framed by endless streams of misinformation and fake news, which have their own consequences, and spread even more distorted and misleading information. Significant part of this misinformation concerns conspiracy theories of all kinds, as well as drugs and treatments that, although approved for other indications, may have potential efficacy in preventing or for treating COVID-19.

[Use of essential oil of peppermint (Mentha piperita) in the complex treatment of patients with infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis].

The paper describes the effects of peppermint (Mentha piperita) essential oil inhaled by patients with infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis in the penitentiary system. This procedure is shown to be most effective in infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis in the phase of resorption of infiltrates and/or closure of decay cavities. The efficiency is determined by the rapid positive changes in a tuberculous process, which appear as a rapider regression of tuberculous inflammation, causing small residual changes.
