[Acute pancreatitis induced by metastases from small cell pulmonary cancer].

Although metastatic lesions associated with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) are rare in the pancreas, metastatic-induced acute pancreatitis from the same cancer is even more so. We discuss the clinical case of a 67-year-old patient with SCLC, diagnosed for 21 months and stable for 3 months, presenting in the emergency department with transfixing epigastric pain. The radiological study reveals two large masses in the pancreas as well as multiple peripancreatic adenopathies.
